So this is where I put what I’m about.

I’m the mom of 3 and the wife to 1. I just turned 31 34 and try to stay as physically active as my body will allow resigned myself to a life of sloth hood. I have been taking took karate for the past 2 3yrs or so…its hard to remember. I’m currently a red brown belt in Chinese Kenpo. My 11 14yr old son has been taking took classes since he was 5, and last Oct 2005, just before he turned 11, he received his blackbelt.

In addition to the Martial Arts, I’m also a certfied cardio kickboxing instructor, a certified body pump/group power instructor, a non-certified pilates instructor, and I’ve done personal training and yoga as well. My newest activity for the past 3yrs is cycling. I’m training for a 2-day, 150 mile bike ride to raise money for the American Diabetes Association MS. Some days I like cycling, most days i hate it. I dont think anything will replace martial arts though.

A year ago I packed up my life and moved from small town NC to Atlanta. I’ve been miserable ever since. Everything is twice as expensive here. I haven’t been able to find a Dojo I like or can afford. I cant find a biking path I feel safe on.

I need a job.
